Citrine, a member of the quartz family, is a cousin of amethyst. Happiness and healing are the two main associations with citrine. Citrines are said to provide relief from a variety of ailments, including stomachaches, sleeplessness, and general stress. The bright orange and yellow colors of citrines, maybe with a tint of brown, are their most well-known characteristics. They may also be big in size. A significant percentage of citrines sold on the market emerge from the ground as unattractive smokey quartzes or amethysts.
